Fall Tour 2000 -- Rome & Madrid

Hotel Aventino gardens in San Anselmo district.

San Anselmo area homes and trees.

Piazaa Venezia.

Aren't those the most gorgeous pizzas? I had the one in the middle with the spinach and tomatoes.

Madrid now, the final stop. Plaza Mayor (pronounced Platha). Means Big Square.
This is art work painted onto the facade of a building where the royal family once lived.

People hanging around on the Plaza Mayor.

Scene at dusk at a lake in the city's central park, El Retiro.

City's main post office.

Newer part of the city; some unusual buildings.

Home of the bullfights.

The bull just always seems to go for the red flag.

Francesco and I end the day at a local Tapas hangout.

Hope you enjoyed the tour.
