View of the lake and mountain passes from the
Principe Leopoldo Hotel.
View of the lakefront.
Two views of this curiosity at the end of the
city lakefront. Something doesn't look right? After a 20 minute walk, you
find out what's wrong. This is a wooden model of a cathedral, built by
the local architectural school. I've spoiled the surprise, but take the
walk anyway. There is a beautiful park that has its entrance right there.
Notice the perfect alignment of the kid in the
stroller (in the purple) and the dog, waiting to cross the street.
This pretty scene is a mural. It is next to a
cathedral. The tree in this view is covering the man's chest full of tattoos
and jewelry, a rather racy scene which is there because this mural is a
Bennetton advertisement.
